Application industries

In 2012-2015 , MICOTECH mineral coating technology was introduced to the Russian and European markets and immediately found application in shipbuilding. The application of mineral coating technology in the shipbuilding industry is due to the fact that parts with MICOTECH mineral layers have proved to be excellent:

  • in sea water, salt spray, hydrogen sulphide, high humidity, abrasive dust and other aggressive media;
  • at thermocyclic loads over a wide temperature range.

According to many experts, there is no analogue of MICOTECH technology in the world practice. Other available technologies of application or creation of wear-resistant coatings, for example, on the large parts working in special conditions of operation (up to 1300 C, salt spray, sea water, hydrogen sulfide, abrasive particles), problems of wear resistance do not solve.

MICOTECH mineral coatings were created in SPC "Mineral coating technologies" and successfully operate as a part of:

  • special vehicles of the Russian Navy;
  • the world's first floating nuclear power plant "Academik Lomonosov";
  • various components of several river and marine vessels.

MICOTECH has received:

  • Certificate of the Russian Marine Registry of Shipping on compliance of mineral coating technology with the requirements of the Russian Marine Registry of Shipping;
  • Certificate of conformity of the management system ISO 9001:2015.
